)-- Indie Author Charlotte Abel has released the second book in her trilogy The Channie Series. Taken is the sequel to the highly acclaimed Amazon best-seller Enchantment, which debuted in May of 2011. In the second book of the series, the main characters Channie and Josh are trying to adjust to life as a couple in high school while learning how to master the newly discovered magical powers within their relationship. The first scene sets up a frightening situation in which they almost freeze to death and the ending scene is heart breaking and leaves the reader anxious for the third book. Everything in between will keep the readers attention. Fan of the author, Kris Kendall says, “I fell in love with the characters immediately and was anxious to see their relationship grow. I’ve recommended the books to all of my friends!”
In Taken, we learn more about the rural community that Channie grew up in and the Mage clans that are about to start a war that Josh is expected to lead. The family tension, mixed with the daily drama of high school relationships, creates a heart-warming and truly exciting story.
Abel is finishing the first book in her next series and hopes to be able to publish it, along with the final installment of The Channie Series by Summer of 2012. You can find all of Charlotte Abel’s books for sale exclusively at Amazon.com.
