Seattle Area PR Firm Maita Communications Part of New Global Network InfiniteLatitude®

Seattle, WA, March 07, 2012 --( Maita Communications, a Seattle area public relations and corporate communications firm, is joining a new global network of senior independent public relations consultants, InfiniteLatitude®

Launching this week, InfiniteLatitude® connects 24 corporate communications professionals in China, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Poland, Portugal, India, Italy, New Zealand, Switzerland, United Kingdom, the United States, and Ecuador, with the aim to expand further in the coming years.

Besides Maita Communications, InfiniteLatitude® will include five other agencies across the United States – Markets Worldwide in Atlanta, Acumen Strategic Communications in Boston and New York, Grupp Global Partners in New York and Tampa, Fla., and 1021 Global Communications in Washington, DC.

Each InfiniteLatitude® professional has a minimum of 15 years of communications agency experience – some as much as 30 years. Several members have previously held senior management positions at Fortune 500 corporations. All professionals operate from boutique agencies and often collaborate virtually, with low overheads.

The new global network will focus primarily on subsidiaries of major multinationals and smaller to mid-sized companies, providing an efficient yet high-quality gateway to international corporate communication. This ability to deliver cross-border business communications strategically, consistently and professionally provided the foundation for the branded name InfiniteLatitude®.

InfiniteLatitude® was initiated by Ulrich Gartner, a veteran in international PR and founder of Gartner Communications ( in Frankfurt, Germany.

“There is an unmet demand from clients who must communicate internationally in a strategic manner, yet are put off by the costs usually required to retain any of the large network agencies,” Gartner said. “By working with InfiniteLatitude®, those companies get access to very senior professionals with outstanding skills and experience, without having to fund extensive infrastructure and administration as well.”

“InfiniteLatitude provides an opportunity for international organizations to access on-the-ground expertise in each of their target markets through professionals who are used to working internationally with global companies,” said Steve Maita, president of Maita Communications ( in Kirkland, Washington.

“As an InfiniteLatitude® member, Maita Communications can increase its international reach by working with professionals who understand the local conditions and requirements in those countries – without having to pay the big overhead costs of maintaining international offices,” he added.

The idea of InfiniteLatitude® was launched in late 2011 via the social networking site LinkedIn. It immediately attracted the interest of dozens of senior consultants around the globe, with backgrounds ranging from running multinationals’ global PR departments to advising top government officials.

A thorough qualification process reduced the network to those 24 professionals who form the core of InfiniteLatitude today, covering 14 markets on five continents. The network members primarily collaborate virtually by using online tools, video and file-sharing platforms from Skype, Google, LinkedIn and Facebook.
