Matthew 25: Ministries Responds to Disaster with Truckloads of Aid to Tri-State Locations

Matthew 25: Ministries is beginning shipments on Monday, March 5 to the areas of the Tri-state affected by Friday’s tornadoes. Matthew 25 is working directly with partners in the devastated areas including churches and local organizations. Matthew 25: Ministries’ Disaster Relief Coordinator Tim Mettey is personally leading an assessment team and delivering Matthew 25’s first shipment of supplies to locations in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky.

Matthew 25: Ministries, a top-ranked disaster relief organization headquartered in Cincinnati, OH is beginning shipments on Monday, March 5 to the areas of the Tri-state affected by Friday’s tornadoes. Matthew 25 is working directly with partners in the devastated areas including churches and local organizations. These partners provide real-time information on conditions and needs and allow Matthew 25 to respond with desperately needed supplies on an ongoing basis.

Matthew 25: Ministries’ Disaster Relief Coordinator Tim Mettey is personally leading an assessment team and delivering Matthew 25’s first shipment of supplies to locations in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. The team will evaluate the needs of the communities, work with partners to establish staging areas and distribution operations and ensure that Matthew 25 is meeting the most critical needs. Matthew 25: Ministries will continue working in the affected areas supporting relief and reconstruction as long as there is need.

Matthew 25: Ministries urgently needs monetary donations to ensure the purchase and shipment of needed supplies. All designated funds are used for the purpose intended. More than 99% of Matthew 25: Ministries' cash and in-kind donations go toward programs. Matthew 25 is also encouraging donations of first response items including non-perishable food, personal care products, cleaning supplies, paper products, baby and infant supplies and first aid items. The truckload of disaster relief departing on Monday is comprised entirely of community donations. Matthew 25 also welcomes volunteers six days a week at their Blue Ash facility.
