Public Service Announcement: Steel Magnolias at Schoolhouse Arts Center from April 13-29

Standish, ME, March 09, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Schoolhouse Arts Center will present Steel Magnolias from April 13-29. Steel Magnolias is a comedy/drama play about the bond among a group of Southern women in northwest Louisiana. It is written by Robert Harling, based on his experience with the death of his sister. The title suggests the "female characters are as delicate as magnolias but as tough as steel." Performances of Steel Magnolias will be held April 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28 at 7:30 p.m. and April 15, 22, 29 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $14 for adults and $12 for students and seniors. Schoolhouse Arts Center is located at 16 Richville Road (Route 114) in Standish, just north of the intersection of Route 114 and Route 35.
