)-- TV4U, the 48 channel IPTV network, will run "This Week at the Italian American Club" on Las Vegas TV station KTUD-TV 25 and on KSHO TV.Com. The series will run for 52 weeks.
Programming in the show will be the sports and entertainment that takes place at the Italian American Club in Las Vegas, which was founded in 1960.
The Italian American Club in Las Vegas is the oldest Italian Restaurant in Las Vegas.
The weekly TV series is believed to be the first weekly TV show from an Italian American Club in the USA.
Sporting events televised from the Las Vegas Italian American Club include the best matches from their monthly boxing card at the club. It also includes major bocce matches featuring the top players not only from Las Vegas but from around the USA.
Entertainment events include televised dinner shows and lounge shows featuring top Italian American artists who star in Las Vegas casinos and around the USA. Both lounge shows and dinner shows were staples of Las Vegas in the glory days of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Jimmy Roselli, but are now preserved mainly at the Las Vegas Italian American Club.
Artists expected to appear in the series include Jerry Tiffe, Pete Barbutti, Babe Pier, Lena Prima, Dick Contino, and Mark Giovi.
"We are delighted to be presenting the events from the Italian American Club in Las Vegas for local, national, and international viewing," said TV4U CEO Charry Kennedy. "The Las Vegas Italian American Club is a must visit for both Italians and non Italians when they come to Las Vegas, not only because of this entertainment, but also for the best Italian food in all of Las Vegas."
Viewers across the country and internationally can view the show on a VOD basis (video on demand) on KSHO TV.Com, which is the Las Vegas Channel on the TV4U.Com 48 channel IPTV network.
"We are very proud to have our sports and entertainment events on KTUD in Las Vegas and KSHO TV.com for the rest of the world," said Las Vegas Italian American Club President Angelo Cassaro. "We hope that those who watch the shows will come and visit us while in Las Vegas and enjoy our food and entertainment."
