Netmania IT and Connectplay Team Up to Deliver ACSLite Into New Zealand

A new partnership deal has just been announced, confirming that Connectplay will be delivering Netmania IT’s low cost, feature rich Auto Configuration Server (ACS) into New Zealand’s broadband market.

Lichfield, United Kingdom, March 16, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Netmania IT, the company behind the popular TR-069 device management solution, ACSLite, has confirmed Auckland-based Connectplay as the latest company to join the Global ACSLite Partnership Programme.

The new deal means that Connectplay will be delivering ACSLite into New Zealand; offering service providers across the country the chance to provision and manage their CPE estates remotely in a cost-effective way using Netmania IT’s feature rich ACS.

Connectplay was established in 2002 to provide technical support services for the Alcatel NZ / Telecom NZ (Xtra) broadband initiative, the company now specialises in the supply and support of high quality broadband Customer Premise Equipment (CPE).

“Teaming up with Connectplay is fantastic news for Netmania because it will help us attract new clients by working alongside a New Zealand company which know their market inside out, while also providing local support for existing and future customers,” explains Anthony Brown, Netmania IT’s Sales & Marketing Director.

“We receive enquiries from all around the world, indeed, ACSLite has quickly become known as the leading device management solution for providers across the globe which is why our partnership network is so important to us, and why we’re so pleased to be working with Connectplay to better serve the market over in New Zealand.”

ACSLite is growing in popularity as a highly scalable, cost-effective platform for TR-069 CPE deployment. The low cost entry point and licensing costs make it an affordable solution, while the comprehensive functionality enables faster and simpler product configuration.

The platform’s LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) design requires minimal hardware and software, while the Logic Box PHP scripting engine offers the ability to create complex actions such as the zero-touch provisioning of devices and value-added services.

“By adding ACSLite to their existing portfolio of products and services, Connectplay will be able to help service providers improve the activation of new subscribers and value-added services, while substantially reducing the costs associated with these processes,” adds Anthony.

“The platform will also enable service providers to enhance their customer support through one-click fixes and improved diagnostics, which will lead to better in-life management of subscribers and devices.”

Commenting on the new partnership, Leila Squire, Sales & Operations Director, says:

“Connectplay is delighted to partner with Netmania in providing leading edge technology for the New Zealand market. We are impressed by the team at Netmania and the ACSLite suite of products and how ACSLite can enhance a business’s ability to deliver an exceptional customer service experience.”

About Netmania IT & ACSLite
Since the company was founded in 2000, Netmania IT has established itself as a leading provider of IT services and solutions. The company’s industry-leading expertise in the field of TR-069 comes from working with one of the first providers in the world to adopt the TR-069 CPE WAN Management Protocol which resulted in the company becoming responsible for the management of one of the largest and most active TR-069 device estates in the world.

Netmania IT has subsequently been heavily involved in the Broadband Forum’s TR-069 CPE WAN Management Protocol over the years and has built up a vast amount of knowledge and experience in TR-069 standards, including systems integration; zero-touch provisioning of value-added services; data collection and router diagnostics; integration into self-care portals; firmware upgrades and compliance testing.

After years of experience managing an estate of many millions of devices, the Netmania IT team decided to use this knowledge to create ACSLite - a low-cost, feature-rich Auto Configuration Server which represents the ideal TR-069 device management solution for all service providers, offering advanced device management functionality at a price which even the smallest providers can afford, while offering the scale and flexibility larger ISPs require as they increase the size of their subscriber base.
