Capstone Digital Announces the 2012 ACORE Grant Winners

Minneapolis, MN, March 16, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Capstone Digital, developer of personalized literacy environments for students, announces the winners of its 2012 Arkansas Capstone Online Reading Experience (ACORE) grant. The ACORE grant program matches schools’ funding dollar for dollar towards the purchase of myON reader, a literacy environment providing online access to more than 2,500 enhanced digital books with multimedia supports (embedded dictionary, highlighting and audio), customized to a student’s interest and reading ability as measured by the Lexile® Framework for reading.

With the implementation of myON, educators will be able to teach using books that are directly correlated with the Common Core State Standards, and the students will be able to learn using the technology they enjoy,” said Gayanne Coleman, District Literacy Chair of El Dorado Public Schools.
