Debt Shield Launches New Website

The new Debt Shield website features detailed information about debt settlement, user- friendly graphics and charts, tools for understanding the real cost of debt, and explanations of other debt relief options.

Columbia, MD, May 24, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The marketing team at Debt Shield launched the company’s new website this week, giving the website its first major overhaul in three years.

The revamped website features an intuitive design, articles to educate website visitors, and detailed explanations of debt settlement, other debt relief options, and Debt Shield’s customized debt negotiation and settlement program.

“Our goal with the new site is to create an online resource for anyone who wants to learn more about debt relief, and debt settlement specifically,” said Debt Shield President John Gourdin. “This new site is a one-stop resource for people looking for dependable information about debt relief and answers to questions they may not even know to ask.”

A “Debt Tools & Resources” section includes articles and press releases as well as immediate access to Debt Shield’s virtual consultant, “VICI” (pronounced “Vicky”). Previously, VICI would only appear well into the online application process. Now, anyone can come to the site and gain immediate access to the virtual consultation.

Other tools available on the new website include a “Debt Test” and “Debt Calculator” that help visitors gain a better understanding their financial situation. Here, visitors can also find the recently developed “Debt Slide,” an illustration that helps consumers determine which debt relief option is right for them.

Because debt settlement is intended for only people who qualify, Debt Shield’s new website provides a comparison of available, legitimate debt relief options so visitors can see which option may work best for their situations. The “Debt Relief Options” section of the new website explains how common debt relief options work and the pros and cons of each. These options include consumer credit counseling services, bankruptcy, debt consolidation as well as debt settlement.

“We still have many exciting ideas and plans for the site and are eager to expand the site’s functionality,” Gourdin said.
