Decatur, GA, March 17, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Nationally acclaimed keynote speakers representing various industries, will share executive leadership, finance, marketing, lifestyle, self development, success in careers and relationships, as well as spiritual insights, with hundreds of women from across the country, during the 6th Annual EPIC Women Leadership Conference, to be held April 20-22, 2012.

Created and hosted by business owner, founder and pastor of the Atlanta-based EPIC World Center Church, Sabrina McKenzie is also founder of the International Dance Commission (IDC). One of the nation’s most celebrated liturgical dance ministries, IDC began hosting the EPIC Women Leadership Conference in 2006, and the event has grown substantially every year since then, with nearly 1,000 attendees.

“We are incredibly excited about our upcoming EPIC Women Leadership Conference and the amazing caliber of presenters who will be sharing their wealth of wisdom and professional expertise with us,” said McKenzie, whose own professional background holds numerous accomplishments, including recently being named National Secretary-General of the Empower Movement, a faith-based campaign in calling for one million people to register to vote on Easter Sunday. “Over the past six years, we feel blessed to be able to bring this conference to women every year and have the best of the best enlighten them with everything they need to change and uplift their lives,” she said.

In addition to McKenzie, among the featured speakers at the three-day event, will be nationally and internationally known entrepreneurs and business owners, who have achieved phenomenal success in their respective industries. These industries include broadcasting, hospitality, health and beauty, government, business, entertainment, law, marketing, finances, ministry, non-profits and community involvement.

Scheduled presenters include Michael V. Roberts, CEO The Roberts Companies, Brandi Harvey, assistant director for the Steve Harvey Foundation and daughter of Comedian Steve Harvey, Georgia State Representatives Georganna Sinkfield and Alisha Thomas Morgan; Leona Barr-Davenport, president/CEO, Atlanta Business League; Donna Pullman, Mayor, City of Doraville, GA.

Lisa Nicole Cloud, Stormy Wellington and Sebrena Sumrah Kelly, nationally renowned successes in the Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) industry; Attorney BettieAnn Hart, CEO, Bettie Anne Childers Hart; Dr. Theresa Hairston, Founder and Publisher of Gospel Today Magazine, as well as the Founder/Chair of the Gospel Heritage Foundation.

According to McKenzie, the power packed weekend will share highly valuable nuggets of knowledge and experience that all attendees can immediately begin to implement.

“Women will be hearing from life coaches sharing information on spiritually managing finances, wealth building, lifting up their voices and impacting legislation, breaking glass ceilings in business, balancing spirituality and sexuality, and much more,” explained McKenzie.

McKenzie also said that a portion of the event will address the growing crisis of domestic abuse shared through a play entitled, “I Love You To Death,” a production about domestic abuse. The play, written by A. Sabrena Farmer, will be held the evening of Friday, April 20 at the Porter Sanford Theatre of Performing Arts in Decatur, located at 3181 Rainbow Drive, Decatur, GA., 30030. Tickets are $10.

“One out of four women is a victim of domestic violence in the United States and "I Love You to Death," follows the story of one family’s journey with domestic violence,” McKenzie said.

One important goal of The EPIC Women Leadership Conference is to ensure women not only learn from its presenters, but realize that many women have shared the same stories, in one way or another, but still emerged as winners.

“We’ve all been there when there wasn’t enough money, some of us have been in abusive relationships or stuck in careers or jobs taking us nowhere, but we continue to fight to make those powerful and positive changes necessary to empower ourselves,” McKenzie said, “and we want every woman attending to know they can do it too.”

Tickets for the EPIC Women Leadership Conference, to be held at the Atlanta Airport Hilton, located 1031 Virginia Ave., Atlanta, GA 30354, are $75. For more information about the Conference and the “I Love You To Death” play, go to www.epicworldcenter.com to register.
