)-- Cannes may have kicked off last week but the party to be at this year was the B2B Media Limited launch. In a show of solidarity with The International Rescue Committee for Darfur, B2B Media Limited, (an Anglo-Italian film product placement company), united personalities from the world of finance, film, diplomacy and international celebrity including Dita von Tess, ex-Vanity Fair Los Angeles editor Wendy Stark, award winning German Industrialist Albert Jung and Sarah Barrand.
B2B Media’s sit-down supper saw guests met on their arrival by a 12 piece African band and they continued to enjoy the evening’s entertainment which included one of the world’s most well known troupe of belly dancers, moroccan coffee leaf readers, henne artists, the spectacular Gold Singers and the renowned DJ Tiesto. An auction to raise funds for the children of Darfur of Chopard’s generously donated Happy Sun Gold Pink Pendant set with 241 brown diamonds sold at almost double its retail price.
Guests enjoyed a fun-packed, stress-free evening and are already awaiting next year’s B2B Media party at the Cannes Film Festival which looks like becoming a yearly event.
