Hyatt Regency Houston's Iconic Revolving Rooftop Restaurant Unveils New Menu

Spindletop menu features organic, locally sourced produce, seafood and meats

Houston, TX, March 22, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Spindletop, downtown’s only revolving rooftop restaurant, has unveiled a revamped menu created by recently-appointed Executive Chef Frank Majowicz.

While a few of the most popular dishes remain, Chef Majowicz adds to the menu’s southwest flair with starters such as Cajun Gulf Shrimp and Andouille Sausage served over creamy yellow pepper sauce. Not to be missed is the Pan-Seared Duck Breast with sundried apricot and chipotle relish.

New entrée standouts include a Gujillo Chili Honey Glazed Salmon with sweet potato roasted corn risotto and smoked poblano salsa. Or, the 12- Spice Chicken with homemade mole sauce, Oaxaca cheese and purple Peruvian potatoes.

Majowicz, whose culinary career started with the U.S. Navy aboard the aircraft supercarrier the USS Forrestal, relies on organic, locally sourced produce, seafood and meats wherever possible.

Spindletop, located atop the Hyatt Regency Houston at 1200 Louisiana Street, serves dinner only Tuesday – Saturday from 6 – 10 p.m. Dinner reservations are recommended by calling 713.375.4775 or visiting www.SpindletopHouston.com.
