Continuing to Climb, Rock Band VanMarter Project Reaches #51

Northwest rock band VanMarter Project’s single "Guaranteed Tomorrow" moves from #57 to #51 in its fourth week and is #3 Most Added Song on the FMQB chart again.

Port Orchard, WA, March 24, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Among many talented artists with great songs currently hitting the charts, you’ll find a new band from the Pacific Northwest called VanMarter Project in the Top 100. The single “Guaranteed Tomorrow” on their debut album titled Don’t Look Back released on Hydrus Media has climbed to #51 and is the #3 Most Added Song on the FMQB Adult Contemporary (AC) chart for the week of March 19, 2012.

VanMarter Project was introduced to their current record label under unusual circumstances. Band members worked to develop their craft for five years before playing a charity concert for a retirement home where a listener asked for a demo CD. She said she knew a friend who had a friend looking for music to use on a television series he was producing. A month later, VanMarter Project received a call from Hydrus Media to discuss featuring their music on the groundbreaking Discovery HD TV series Catchin’ Air which has since been distributed globally. It’s not often that a band has such a serendipitous opportunity but as Josh Popham, bass player for VanMarter Project, tells others: ”It goes to show that you never pass up the chance to play a gig.”

Hydrus Media has been developing VanMarter Project over the past year and is pleased with the reception of “Guaranteed Tomorrow” to national radio. The single has been in the Top 3 Most Added each week and climbed from their debut of #116 to #51 with anticipated growth in the weeks to come. Dates will soon be announced for the 2012 “Don’t Look Back” Tour scheduled to begin this May.
