)-- Cannon Group has signed a comprehensive, results-driven contract with PPL Corporation, expanding the three-year relationship that began in 2009. Services will include IT vendor management, Telecom Expense Management and associated Sourcing support.

The Cannon Group team will interface with PPL’s largest IT suppliers and provide managed support for telecom expenses.
In addition, due to the contract’s results-based nature, Cannon Group will deliver thorough reporting needed to measure progress and accomplishments. According to Tom Cannon, these targets and results will keep the team highly motivated.
Jim Schinski, PPL’s Chief Information Officer, has sponsored the project to leverage Cannon Group’s experience and best practices, including the staffing of a vendor management office, ongoing life-cycle telecom support from order to payment, and contract negotiation support.
