Another Challenge Met, VanMarter Project Breaks Top 40

VanMarter Project’s single "Guaranteed Tomorrow" breaks into the Top 40 as it hits #38 in its fifth week on the ACQB chart.

Port Orchard, WA, April 01, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Breaking into the Top 40 is a step in the right direction for VanMarter Project, a rock band from the Pacific Northwest. The single “Guaranteed Tomorrow” on their debut album titled Don’t Look Back released on Hydrus Media has climbed to #38 on the FMQB Adult Contemporary (AC) chart for the week of March 26, 2012. Both VanMarter Project and Hydrus Meda, a television, film and music production company based in Port Orchard, Washington, are accustomed to overcoming challenges and excited about this milestone.

Hydrus Media’s foundation is built on the ability to surmount difficult situations through creativity and perseverance. Pioneering various projects including documenting never before seen behavior with elusive sixgill sharks and producing a groundbreaking series on kiteboarding for Discovery Communications, to overseeing aquatic sites on Hollywood feature films such as The Hunted, Mean Creek, Into The Wild, and Men of Honor, Hydrus Media eventually gave rise to its music production division. The spirit of Hydrus drives the development of its musical talent as it rises to meet the challenges of the entertainment industry with a hands on do-it-yourself approach. As a specialist in the unique and extreme, Travis Swanson, President of Hydrus Media, lives by the motto: “If it were easy, everyone would be doing it.” This can-do attitude despite the odds has influenced many factors behind the development of VanMarter Project and contributed to the current radio hit “Guaranteed Tomorrow,” which can now be credited as a Top 40 charted song.

Mr. Swanson recognizes the same passionate desire to sacrifice and work hard to achieve one’s goals in the members of VanMarter Project. Despsite many obstacles, the band’s members: Chris Chilton, A.J. Webster, Josh Popham and Jason Stephens have persevered with the belief that VanMarter Project’s talent and appeal will be appreciated. This mutual work ethic shared by both band and label is catching the attention of other industry professionals who are keeping an eye on VanMarter Project’s endeavors.
