New York, NY, April 05, 2012 --(PR.com
)-- Dr. Mark Peterson, a leading veterinary endocrinologist, spoke to more than 100 veterinarians and veterinary staff at the Animal Endocrine Clinic’s 2nd Lecture Series. The sold out event was held at Atun’s of Westchester in Elmsford, NY.
According to Dr. Peterson, “We initially launched the Lecture Series in 2011 to share our experiences in treating endocrine disorders in cats and dogs, as well as to provide educational credits to our colleagues. We are thrilled with the level of interest and number of veterinarians who have attended our events. This second event was even larger than the first.”
The 2nd Lecture Series event held in Westchester County, provided lectures on the diagnosis and treatment of specific endocrine disorders like Cushings, Hypercalcemia, Diabetes, Hyperthyroidism and Hypothyroidism. Attendee, Patrice A. Whittington, DVM, MPH said, "I find Dr. Peterson's seminars to be highly valuable for daily practice, informal and friendly, and always engaging and dynamic."
“We try and craft our speaking series so that our attendees feel engaged throughout the event. And we are excited about our next event, even though the location and date are yet to be announced,” claimed Dr. Peterson.
