Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre Nashville Creates Positive Change Through the Arts

Nashville Church of Scientology hosts seminar to help up and coming film makers.

Nashville, TN, April 07, 2012 --(PR.com)-- “A Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre is a special place. It’s our mission to uplift artists because they will bring about change in society. Whether it is a good change or a bad change rests entirely upon their spiritual values or lack thereof,” says church pastor Rev. Brian Fesler.

In alignment with this mission, the church hosts seminars to help artists rise to their potential and become less susceptible to the negativity that often surrounds them. Successful musicians, composers, writers, painters, movie makers and photographers give inside information on how they were able to excel in their field.

On April 21st at 1pm successful film makers Bayou Bennett and Daniel Lir of Dolce Films will travel to Nashville from Hollywood to deliver a seminar on “How to Make and Market Your Film.” In this seminar, the audience will learn how to create a buzz for their film and get special insight into the technical aspects of film making.

Bennett and Lir have produced award-winning TV spots and films, and collaborated on innovative projects for a long list of clients, including: Adidas, Indieflix, The Tennis Channel, MTV, Nickelodeon, Smashbox Cosmetics, City Harvest, Patricia Field, Atlantic Records, Island Def Jam and Estee Lauder. In 2009, Dolce Films won an award for “Around the Block” starring Lea Michele of Fox’s “Glee” at the New York Television Festival.

Bennett and Lir are in pre-production on a feature film titled "Skateboarding with Saddam." The film is Executive Produced by Doug Claybourne (Executive Producer of "Fast and the Furious," "War of the Roses," “D2: The Mighty Ducks,” “Jack” and "Hearts of Darkness" and Producer of “The Mask of Zorro,” “Money Train” and “Rumble Fish”).

Driven by a purpose to inspire and entertain, they work hard to breathe life into the type of creative projects that will have a significant impact on society. Bennett has said that as a filmmaker, she is “motivated by a purpose to inspire hope and positive change in our world-with humor, great characters and meaningful stories.”

In response to this, Fesler says, “That is exactly why they are perfect for this seminar. They are driven to help others to create positive change in the community and that is exactly what this world needs.”
