Raleigh, NC, April 15, 2012 --(PR.com
)-- Clean Design, Inc. (http://www.cleandesign.com) has announced that the firm received one Gold, Silver and Bronze ADDY award individually at the annual competition sponsored by the Raleigh-Durham chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF), held at Dorton Arena in Raleigh, N.C. The agency earned both a Gold ADDY for its design of a direct mailer and a Silver ADDY for its design work in a newspaper that it created for Carolina Ballet, a highly respected professional ballet company based in Raleigh that performs across the state of North Carolina, and a Bronze ADDY for its design work for the firm’s self-promotional website.
Clean Design created a direct mailer for Carolina Ballet’s performance of The Nutcracker, directed by Robert Weiss for the 2011 holiday season and featuring new magic tricks, illusions and scenery. The design firm developed creative work that captured the magic of the visually refreshed production in a direct mailer titled “We’ve Got Something Up Our Sleeve,” and let people know that the performance would be a version of The Nutcracker unlike any they had ever seen before. The project’s receipt of a Gold ADDY is recognition of the highest level of creative excellence and is judged to be superior to all other entries in the competition. Gold ADDY Award winners at local competitions move on to compete at the district and national level.
The Silver ADDY win was for the agency’s creative work for Carolina Ballet’s Newspaper for an entry titled "Capture the Holiday Magic,” which highlighted the ballet company’s production of The Nutcracker.
Clean Design won the Bronze ADDY for an entry titled “We’ve Moved.” The winning entry highlighted the firm’s move to new corporate headquarters on its website. The agency’s portfolio including its award-winning work for Carolina Ballet can be found at http://www.cleandesign.com.
The ADDY Awards is the advertising industry's largest competition, attracting more than 50,000 entries every year in local ADDY competitions. Winners from local competitions across the country move to the second tier in the competition in one of 15 district competitions. District winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the national ADDY Awards competition.
“It is an honor to be recognized three times by the RDU Chapter of the American Advertising Federation for our design work for Carolina Ballet and for our website,” said Natalie Perkins, president of Clean Design. “At Clean Design, we strive to create the best for our clients, and it is rewarding when our work is recognized by our peers.”
