Stephen Dent Construction Builds Again

Greenwich, CT, April 15, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Stephen Dent Construction has announced that the company is officially ready to start building residential and business complexes this month, following a major relocation from Wisconsin to Greenwich, Connecticut. Stephen Dent decided to move the entire company, including all staff, to Greenwich, and provided each employee with generous relocation funds and three months paid time off to spend searching for new homes and settling in.

The relocation caused Stephen Dent Construction to come to a screeching halt this January, but founder and CEO Stephen Dent felt the move to Greenwich would benefit the company so much that nearly four months of maintaining operating costs without taking in any income was worth it.

This move may seem foolhardy, but with Stephen Dent ready to start building multi-million dollar residential homes in just over two weeks, the company is likely to make up their losses sooner than expected. Stephen Dent had this to say:

"Stephen Dent Construction has always been about doing the right thing. In this case, myself and the Board felt that paying our employees their normal wages and providing relocation funds was the right thing to do, even if it hurts us a little in the short run. We know in the long run, we have done right by our company and by our employees."
