The Money Pit Marks 300 Affiliate Milestone with Times Square Broadcast

New York, NY, April 19, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Money Pit, the nation’s largest home improvement show on radio, has added its 300th affiliate and is celebrating the achievement with a special broadcast from New York's Times Square. On April 20th, show co-hosts Tom Kraeutler and Leslie Segrete will originate their show from the “Crossroads of the World,” during one of the country’s largest Earth Day events.

The Money Pit, heard in many of the country's top markets including New York, Atlanta, Orlando and Providence, added more than 20 new stations in the first quarter of 2012, breaking past the 300 affiliate station threshold. The newest markets include El Paso, TX, Huntington, WV, Savannah, GA and Reno, NV.

The Money Pit’s Times Square broadcast is set for Friday, April 20th from 2-4PM EST on Broadway between 42nd and 43rd Streets. Tom will also be hosting a national Television and Radio Media Tour that morning from the same location, highlighting earth-friendly products for home improvement projects, for viewers and listeners on dozens of stations across the nation. The Earth Day 2012 event will feature entertainment, speakers, and an interactive exhibit area.
