Students at Local Culinary Institution Face Off in Reality Television-Styled Food Challenge.

Indianapolis, IN, April 20, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Chef’s Academy (http://www.thechefsacademy.com), the Culinary Division of Harrison College, a 110-year-old, nationally accredited institution that offers 40 degree programs in five schools of study, has announced that students at the school’s Indianapolis campus, located at 644 E. Washington St., will compete in a reality television-styled cooking showdown titled Who’s Left Cooking? starting April 20 and running for three weeks through May 4. Similar to the Food Network series Chopped, the competition begins with 16 teams of three students each going knife to knife to prepare dishes with various mystery ingredients. The first week of competition challenges teams to prepare unique appetizers, with the surviving teams facing off in fish, entrée and dessert preparation the following three weeks.

Quotes:
“Our Who’s Left Cooking? competition gives students the chance to show off the culinary skills they have gained during their tenure at The Chef’s Academy,” said Jayson M. Boyers, national division president of The Chef’s Academy. “In order to win, teams will have to prove not only that they can work together to impress the judges, but that they can take a unique ingredient and use it to create a fantastic dish that anyone would enjoy. The competition will test their ingenuity and develop skills they will need when working in restaurants and other institutions after graduating from The Chef’s Academy.”
