The bar will also offer local and green initiatives, with 12 North Carolina breweries featured on 12 taps, Childress North Carolina wines on draft (a first for the area), and limited bottled wine and alcohol offerings. Service will be fast-casual, where food and beverages will be ordered at the kitchen counter and then brought to the guest when ready.
“We are honored to provide great eating options at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences and the Nature Research Center,” said Ogan. “The opening of The Daily Planet Café is a testament to Rocky Top Hospitality’s continued emphasis on providing the best all-natural, freshest entrees found locally in North Carolina in a friendly, group-dining setting. With the ability to cater special events at both eateries, we encourage everyone who wants a pleasurable meal while exploring all the great attractions that these museums have to offer to visit these restaurants.”
