Aces Boxing Club Launches After School Boxing Program

Aces Boxing Club in Boonton launches a new after school boxing program for kids.

Boonton, NJ, April 29, 2012 --(PR.com)-- In an effort to help kids remain active and out of trouble upon getting out of school, Aces Boxing Club in Boonton has launched an after-school boxing program Monday through Friday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

The program incorporates the fundamentals and roots of boxing coupled with varied days of strength and conditioning training to offer a full core workout for the teenagers. For those who want to compete, it provides a platform where they can get prepared for the ring.

“It is important for kids to have a place to go after school where they can do something they enjoy,” said Joe Zabry, owner of Aces Boxing Club. “Our program gives these kids an outlet where they can train and work towards a goal; and it also provides parents with the peace of mind of knowing where their kids are each day after school.”

Amateur boxing gives kids a chance to work towards the Golden Gloves which can lead to the Olympics, and for those truly skilled and talented a professional career. At Aces Boxing Club Zabry strives to teach the essentials of the sport to the young boxers and help them develop their skills and knowledge.

“The sport is more than about throwing punches,” said Zabry. “It is about building camaraderie within a boxing club and learning values and principles you can take with you through life. We have kids from all different schools and backgrounds, and they all share a common bond here—the passion to learn how to box.”

Aces Boxing Club specializes in one-on-one training for both beginners and experienced boxers, allowing individuals to train at their own level. They also offer group training, which allows individuals to learn from the trainer as well as other peers in the group.

The 3,000+ square foot boxing club offers the feel of an old school boxing gym coupled with the latest advancements in sports conditioning and training.

The new boxing club offers a variety of training programs for kids and adults of all ages and athletic levels, from the beginner boxer to the seasoned professional.
