Most of the church’s damage was caused by smoke and water mixed with ash, Bryant-Phillips used dehumidifiers as well as large air movers to dry the areas of the church ruined by water and washed all walls, lights and cabinetry to remove any traces of smoke. Bryant-Philips salvaged about 95 percent of items damaged, including many historical documents, music and library books.
