)-- Lyons Den Productions, in cooperation with Deadhorse, the city of Rijeka, Distune Promotion, and Art-Kino Croatia are proud to announce a special preview screening of their work-in-progress feature film “There Are No Goodbyes” followed by a live concert with soundtrack musicians, Deadhorse. The event, titled “Kino Koncert”, will be held at Art-Kino Croatia in Rijeka, Croatia. The film will begin at 8:00pm on Saturday May 12th followed by Deadhorse at 10:00pm. “There Are No Goodbyes” writer/director John C. Lyons, story/score composer Andy Flatley, and stars Matthew King (“Oliver”) and Jennifer Hooper (“Raina”) will introduce the film via video.
“It’s exciting to find ourselves in this position as independent filmmakers. You just don’t get these kinds of opportunities,” said the film’s writer/director John C. Lyons. “We are now tweaking and test screening the film, and just starting to submit to festivals, and this beautiful venue in Croatia contacts us and puts together this awesome event. The feedback we get in Rijeka will help greatly in shaping the final cut and in gauging interest overseas. We’re very excited to be on a bill with Deadhorse, their music is so cinematic and worked perfectly in the film’s trailer.” Deadhorse, who are currently overseas for their first European tour, said of the event "We are very anxious and excited about this special event in Croatia. We have never done anything like this before, and consider it an honor and something very special to be a part of."
