A&R to Release a New EP

St. Paul hip-hop artist, A&R, will releases a new EP on May 8, 2012

St. Paul, MN, May 04, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Hip-hop artist, A&R, will release a new EP, “Francis Albert,” on May 8, 2012.

The lead single, which features Tek, another well respected Twin Cities’ hip-hop artist and producer, is available now at ionlygetbetter.com. The track came of a low-key studio session between the two emcees that have a long history together. “People don't know that Tek was actually the first person that ever put me in the booth and taught me how to record music,” says A&R of the friendship.

The EP, named after Frank Sinatra, is a reflection of who A&R is. As an artist, he is constantly pushing himself to improve, and is unwilling to compromise his talent and vision, demanding the best from himself. A&R has taken that passion to a new level, as he begins to transition into producing himself. A&R has dedicated his hip-hop career to making music that is fresh and different from the status quo. Without question, he brings that commitment to “Laid Back” and to the “Francis Albert” EP. The EP was produced by Devon “Von Anthony” Johnson, and includes strong orchestral and instrumental elements reminiscent of the music from the Rat Pack era.

A&R’s single “Laid Back” is currently available for free through his website, http://www.ionlygetbetter.com. The “Francis Albert” EP comprised of 5 songs, will be available for listening on his http://ionlygetbetter.tumblr.com starting May 4, 2012 and for download through his website on May 8, 2012.
