Penn Station Franchise Recruiting with Several New Twists

Cincinnati, OH, June 06, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Penn Station puts a new twist on franchise recruiting efforts with an emphasis on Nashville, TN. "As most franchisers, we have utilized print advertising forever but have added a unique communication supplement: Radio advertising on the leading news-talk station WLAC in Nashville," according to Franchise Development Executive Director Tom Coyle. There is an abundance of franchise and business opportunity advertising in National and local press, they have added radio, streaming audio ads, email blasts, in-market seminars and banner advertising to "break through" some of the clutter and make the message stand out.

“When we look at population, demographics and the eating away from home trends, Nashville was one of our top markets chosen for growth,” says Company President Craig Dunaway. When fully developed they believe the market will support as many as 20 Penn Station locations. Their development plan would create about 400 new jobs and have a positive economic impact in the market of nearly $5 million dollars in annual wages and food purchases continued Dunaway. According to Development Director Mark Partusch, “we currently operate 3 locations in the Nashville area and have already had several franchise developer inquiries and have reviewed several locations for the new restaurants. If all goes as planned we will see the next locations open in early fall 2007.”

Founded in 1985 and boasting a 99.5% success rate, Penn Station East Coast Subs operates 175 locations primarily in the Midwest and Southeast. The original Philly Cheesesteak, fresh cut fries and hand squeezed lemonade continue to be the most popular menu items.
