Stewart Engineering Names Ryan Scarborough as Structural Engineer-in-Training

Local Engineering Firm Expands Structural Engineering Department

Raleigh, NC, May 05, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Robert Macia, PE, LEED AP, president of Stewart Engineering (http://www.stewart-eng.com), has announced that M. Ryan Scarborough has joined the firm as structural Engineer-In-Training (EIT). In this role, Scarborough is responsible for performing structural design calculations, creating structural drawings, analyzing existing structures and reviewing plans for buildings currently in the construction phase. Prior to joining Stewart Engineering, Scarborough served as an intern to the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), where he was responsible for surveying roads and surrounding areas to design new roadways and storm water drainage systems. He received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in civil engineering, with an emphasis on structural engineering, from Clemson University in Clemson, S.C. and now resides in his hometown of Gastonia, N.C.
