Indiana CPA Society Ranks Third Among Small to Medium Size Companies in 2012 Best Places to Work in Indiana

The Indiana CPA Society ranked third out of the 39 companies named to the Best Places to Work in Indiana list for small to medium-size companies (15-249 employees in the United States).

Indianapolis, IN, May 06, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Indiana CPA Society (INCPAS) was recognized Thursday as one of the top companies for the Indiana Chamber of Commerce's 2012 Best Places to Work in Indiana. INCPAS ranked third out of the 39 companies named to the list for small to medium-size companies (15-249 employees in the United States).

On May 3, 2012, companies from across the state were recognized at the Indiana Roof Ballroom. The Chamber unveiled rankings for the 70 companies that made the 2012 Best Places to Work in Indiana list, released on Feb. 21. The awards dinner was presented by Comcast Business Class. At the dinner, representatives from INCPAS, Jennifer Briggs, CAE, vice president - member services and Mike Barker, CPA, vice president - finance, accepted the Best Places to Work award of excellence on behalf of the staff.

"We are honored and excited about our third place ranking as one of the best places to work in Indiana in our very first year of being a part of the process. It is a testament to our staff, volunteers and our members. We work hard and we serve each other and the CPAs of Indiana with integrity, innovation, professionalism and a high level of compassion as we try to balance all aspects of the complex environment we work in today," said Briggs.

The awards program was created in 2006 and is a project of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, BizVoice® magazine, Inside INdiana Business, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) - IN State Council, the Indiana Economic Development Corporation and Best Companies Group.

Currently, more than 7,000 CPAs in public practice, industry, government and education are members of the Indiana CPA Society. INCPAS serves the public interest as well as its members.
