Think Design Magazine's May 2012 Art Dinner

Think Design Magazine's May Art Dinner will feature Gomez Bueno, artist, critic and cultural provocateur. Bueno is from Spain but now resides in Los Angeles, California.

Phuket, Thailand, May 10, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Phuket needs more culture, or at least to have its culture exposed to the visitors and residents who don’t know much about it. Phuket is so much more than beaches, hangovers and tuk tuks. Think Design Magazine, Phuket's leader in arts and culture is in the first embryonic steps of exposing that culture to a larger number of people who then can evangelize Thailand to their friends around the world, and as the process is repeated will reach critical mass.

The way the Art Dinners work is, Think Design Magazine selects a fantastic artist, in this case Gomez Bueno, and six of his art pieces are matched by Chef Alex of Bliss Beach Club, a remarkable artist in his own right with six dinner items inspired by the paintings. At the beginning of each course, a painting will be introduced with a short review of it, followed by Chef Alex introducing the dinner menu. The previous Think Design Art Dinners have been a tremendous success and a great opportunity to try some delicious food and get some food for thought about art. All in attendance have found it a very enjoyable experience. The arts have cross-pollinated throughout history and this is a chance to encourage that.
