"I’m Not Afraid of Anything" How a Children’s Writer Turned Her Irrational Childhood Fear Into a Best Seller

Beth Arnstein was once afraid of the vacuum. And escalators. And birds. But she’s not afraid to write for kids, the toughest critics out there. "I'm Not Afraid of Anything" is Beth’s first published work. She lives in Pittsburgh with her husband, one year old son, and super scary guard cat.

Pittsburgh, PA, May 10, 2012 --(PR.com)-- When seven year old Beth (Koenig) Arnstein saw her dress going in to the vacuum hose, she was sure she’d be next. In her wild imagination, it was possible. What she never imagined was that, twenty years later, the event would turn in to a story. Or that that story would become an ebook.

He is daring on his bicycle, acrobatic on the swing, and he even climbs the tree all the way to the tippy top. He’s not afraid of anything. Anything, that is, except the bathtub drain. In the book "I'm Not Afraid of Anything," finding out what really happens when the bath water drains makes him not so afraid of the tub anymore. But, like Arnstein, he’s not going near the vacuum.

Kids will enjoy the personality of the main character and the humor of the illustrations. Parents will find the story to have a practical application in admitting and dealing with fear. This ebook is also unique because of its publisher. MeeGenius is available as a website or an app and will read the book to a child, or allow a child to read it alone.

After finishing in the top 13 of more than 400 entries in the digital publisher MeeGenius’ Author Challenge, "I'm Not Afraid of Anything" was released for e-sales in late March. It has been on the app’s best seller list since. This is the first published work for Beth Arnstein, though she is currently submitting other works for publication. Beth is a former teacher who lives in Pittsburgh, PA with her husband and one year old son.
