SocialVents Announces Eventbrite and ConstantContact Partnerships

SocialVents: Location-Based Events Search and Discovery Service Teams Up with Event Promotion Heavy Hitters

Los Angeles, CA, May 10, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The unique approach that bootstrapped http://www.SocialVents.com has chosen to tackle event promotion/marketing as well as event discovery, has garnered the young startup attention from some established event websites. Most notably, partnerships with ConstantContact and Eventbrite have been minted, in which SocialVents directly receives event information from its partners in order to display it on the SocialVent map. SocialVents users are then in turn redirected back to the source of the event information. SocialVents CEO, Kevin Tabatabai had this to say about the newly formed alliances: "Obviously, we are very excited to have been recognized by these fine companies for our hard work and vision for our startup. We are very focused on nurturing and expanding these relationships, which basically provide a win-win scenario. Aside from our bigger partnerships, we are also in the process of teaming up with more local, small to mid-sized ticketing websites in order to provide our users with a higher density of events, especially in the more rural parts of the US, but really worldwide. One such example is FrontGateTickets.com, which really has been with us almost right from the start." This seems to bode well for SocialVents, which has experienced tremendous growth in traffic, user numbers, and web presence due to good SEO and respectable indexing by all the major search engines.

According to Co-Founder Alex Santos, other industries have been interested in leveraging SocialVents technology as well, "As we all know, location-based services have been all the rage lately, so while it didn't really surprise us that we were approached about possibly doing some licensing deals, we were certainly very flattered. Unfortunately, I can't say much more at this time, but I look forward to sharing more details relatively soon."

The release of the SocialVents iPhone app (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/socialvents/id436873448?mt=8&ls=1), which has gone through some productive iterations and updates, has established SocialVents as a serious player in the event marketing world. According to the SocialVents makers, daily iPhone app downloads are rapidly approaching the hundreds range. The app, which is free to download provides the user with a map, based on her current location and displays different event markers based on event category. Categories span the spectrum from meetups, concerts and theatre productions, up to lectures, festivals, active and nightlife events. The user can further drill down into each event and find out prevalent event information, such as event name, cost, address, description etc. While the creators cannot predict what the future has in store for them, they agree: "We are looking forward to the challenges ahead and hope to provide a service that will be beneficial and reach as many people as possible."
