Signalfire, LLC, Launches New Brand and Website for Animal Shelter

Delavan, WI, May 13, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Signalfire, LLC, a full service branding and web strategy agency, launches a new brand and website for the Lakeland Animal Shelter, a shelter located in Elkhorn, Wis. Signalfire created a logo to reflect the new brand of Lakeland Animal Shelter. Signalfire designed, developed, and built an intuitive, welcoming, interactive user experience for the Lakeland Animal Shelter website.

Signalfire chose to construct a user interface design to become the central foundation of how Lakeland Animal Shelter communicates with the community and their diverse user groups. The development and functionality centers around the ability to easily maintain and grow—via the web based interface. Signalfire developed a content managed system that would easily accommodate Lakeland Animal Shelter’s pet adoption software.

The design and functionality had to display the three components of Lakeland Animal Shelter; animal adoption, volunteer organization, and donation program. Lakeland Animal Shelter hosts ongoing fundraisers and events year round and they needed a platform to promote their events. Signalfire met their needs with an artistic development of the website design. And with a newly designed website, Signalfire felt Lakeland Animal Shelter’s new site deserved a new logo to go with it.

“We came to Signalfire hoping for a new website build and in turn received a new brand,” Executive Director of Lakeland Animal Shelter Kristen Perry said. “We needed a design and platform that would allow for better outreach, support, and ease of use. We also needed a logo that would carry us forward with our capital campaign for our new facility.”

Signalfire wanted the Lakeland Animal Shelter’s logo to reflect their brand with a softer more approachable look and one that could be easily and immediately identifiable. Lakeland Animal Shelter reaches out in various avenues of the community—such as animal control, adoptions, and sheltering unwanted or abandoned animals—and they needed to be able to use the brand and logo in different applications, such as informative brochures, bumper stickers, and T-shirts.

“The logo will be quickly recognizable, easily modified for different events, and has a universal appeal,” Signalfire President and Owner Matthew Olson said.

The new brand is playful, identifiable, nimble, and focuses on happy endings for pets. It centers around three lovable animals; a dog, cat, and rabbit. Signalfire not only created the base logo but also has put together branded materials for all of Lakeland Animal Shelter’s major fundraising events.

“We look forward to a long term partnership with Lakeland Animal Shelter as they move forward with their capital campaign and their animal focused efforts,” Olson said.
