Stylekc.com Celebrates Launch at WearHaus Summer Fashion Event
Kansas City's new online fashion and lifestyle resource debuts at NV June 27, 2007.
Kansas City, MO, June 08, 2007 --(PR.com)-- WearHaus partners with stylekc.com to present a fashion event at NV in Kansas City, the first in a series of summer events. The newest addition to the Kansas City media scene, stylekc.com will cover all things fashion, beauty and lifestyle in the metro area, including fashion events, new boutiques and emerging designers.
The event will be held at NV (220 Admiral Blvd, downtown KC www.nv-kc.com) on Wednesday June 27, 2007 from 5 PM to 10 PM. There will be two fashion shows, at 7 and 9 PM, featuring vintage pieces from local online boutique Vintage Amore (www.vintageamore.com) Admission is free from 5 PM to 6:30 PM and $5 after 6:30.
Founded by former beauty industry marketing executive Sarah McDaniel Klug and local photographer Robbie Schraeder, stylekc.com will take the guesswork out of finding things to do in the city. “There are some great things happening in Kansas City and we knew the time was right to create a dynamic online resource that offered readers the latest and greatest information on local events, designers, shops and spas.” said Klug. “When Carman of Wearhaus approached us about doing a joint event to celebrate our launch, we thought it would be a great way to kick off the site and celebrate the local fashion scene.”
WearHaus produces fashion shows, fashion markets and other fashion events. The goal of WearHaus is to develop a network of local Kansas City designers who can learn, create and prosper together as a community. The summer fashion event series is a collaboration between WearHaus and NV, along with local designers and entrepreneurs.
