)-- Epom ad serving and ad management platform is now offering free SDK for Android devices as part of the package.
Already providing the clients with free mobile ad server, Epom has now significantly increased its functionality with possibilities to serve ads in Android apps due to the introduced free SDK for smartphones and tablets, working on Android OS.
As Adam Jablonski, Epom CEO explains: “In-app ads happen to be the most profitable segment of the market now, whereas the tools for running in-app ad campaigns are rarely available. Such scarcity of supply is mostly affected by numerous hurdles in the implementation of such a solution for serving ads in mobile apps. We have been working on our SDK for quite a long time to make it really innovative and convenient and are now happy to present it to our clients.”
In this respect, one of the world's international file storage services 4shared, that uses Epom for its display and mobile ads, has already started using Epom Android SDK’s to serve ads in the company’s featured application 4shared Music.
Moreover, another cloud storage and file syncing service 4Sync, powered by the same publisher, has successfully integrated Android SDK in its mobile application.
Andrew Liulko, Sales Director at 4shared, admits: "We’ve got 20% of mobile traffic at 4shared as for now, and this amount is continuously growing. Naturally, nowadays people are likely to use their mobile devices to do things they used to do on their PC’s and laptops. Thus, we find it very essential to have a set of helpful tools to serve ads on mobile Web and applications. Unfortunately, we haven’t got an effective way to monetize app traffic till now. With Epom we’ve acquired an opportunity maximize our revenue."
Epom Android SDK core features include:
· Support of apps for: Android (Version 1.6 and higher).
· Support of all standard ad formats in Mobile Apps: Image Ads, Rich Media Ads.
· Caching & Offline delivery.
· Ad Refresh for updating the ads after a customizable time period has elapsed.
· Cross app unique user detection.
Epom's Mobile SDK already supports:
“Certainly, the presented Android SDK is absolutely advantageous for our clients and will allow them to earn more with less efforts in their in-app ad campaigns,” Adam Jablonski, Epom CEO claims. “We are also working on the development of SDK’s for iOS now, so stay tuned to check the updates.”
