)-- World artist Ineke Tuijten agreed to cooperate with avant garde composer Willem Martens. She started with the covers of the albums Secret Garden and Modulations of Martens. The style of these two artists corresponds with and is complementary to each other’s art work. They plan a multimedia project in which the music of Martens and the paintings of Tuijten will be intertwined. Ineke Tuijten is also for decades well known as a ceramist and her decoration and painting style is considered as unique, refined, sophisticated and deep expressive. She was a significant member of the collective De Moerbei and De Waterkom in Amsterdam. Ineke Tuijten is a recognized as a modern painter and illustrator and it is her first activity in the context of classical, experimental and avant garde music.
She is inspired by the music of Martens and tries to make the music of Willem Martens visually more complete and accessible. This artist duo will expose their freestyle art projects to the world.
