San Francisco, CA, June 09, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Zab Judah wears one of Solis Company’s most popular Affliction designs into the ring this Saturday, June 9, before his fight with Miguel Cotto, the current WBA Welterweight Champion. This title fight will be held at Madison Square Garden and is available on HBO Pay Per View. The shirt Judah will wear is an original design by Affliction Clothing called “Winged Up” and can be seen online at Soliscompany.com.

Zab Judah is one of professional Boxing’s most controversial fighters. He is regarded as one of the WBA’s brashest characters, yet his colorful personality has won him a dedicated fan base. Judah, coming out of Brooklyn, has been fighting since he was a teen-ager. Trained by his father, a former kick boxing world champion, Zab entered the professional boxing world at the age of 18 where he knocked out his first opponent in the second round. Judah has developed into a very skillful fighter. With his southpaw stance, Judah is quick on feet and capable of packing a very powerful punch. In the ring, he’s a relaxed fighter, allowing his punches to flow more freely. He’s been known to show off in the ring, where he loses concentration and sometimes his composure if he’s losing a fight.

Zab Judah will battle Miguel Cotto for the Welterweight title this coming Saturday night on June 9 in New York City at Madison Square Garden. Cotto has a record of 29-0. Standing shorter than most welterweights at 5’7” with an arm reach of 67 inches (5 shy of the average for his fighting class), Miguel Cotto has still managed to knockout 24 of his opponents. He’s quick and able to avoid attacks and delivers incredible body punches. Judah is looking forward to the contest at Madision Square Garden with confidence saying of his opponent, "Cotto is a one-dimensional fighter. He is a robotic fighter, and when you match a great, great fighter against a robot there's going to be a malfunction."

During an interview on ESPN, Zab Judah wore one of Solis Company’s most popular Affliction designs this season. Called “Winged Up,” this graphic began like all other Affliction graphics, as a hand drawn inspiration. “Winged Up” depicts the epic struggle between good and evil, the common theme that permeates through all of Affliction’s designs. The Judah shirt depicts two winged skulls menacing an illuminated crucifix. It can be seen on Soliscompany.com at the following link:

This graphic is printed with a water based ink, giving it a no hand feel. The garment is washed several times and its sleeves and collar are grinded and the final product is left softened and deconstructed, reminiscent of an old favorite t-shirt. “Winged Up” is available in black, white and red.
