Abu Dhabi to Host Arab Pediatric Pulmonology Association 3rd Annual Congress Event Alongside Sheikh Khalifa Medical City’s Pediatric Update 2012

Abu Dhabi is set to host in November the 3rd Annual Congress of the Arab Pediatric Pulmonologist Association (APPA) for the first time in the UAE alongside the 3rd Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) Pediatric Update.

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, May 26, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Abu Dhabi is set to host in November the 3rd Annual Congress of the Arab Pediatric Pulmonologist Association (APPA) for the first time in the UAE alongside the 3rd Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) Pediatric Update.

The dual-conference, which will take place from 22 -24 November at Beach Rotana will cover cutting-edge research in pediatric pulmonary and general pediatrics. Attendees of either sub-specialty will be able access to both conferences which will be running simultaneously on November 23 and 24. Meanwhile Post Graduate Courses in Pulmonology and Pediatrics will be offered on November 22.

The APPA Congress will be led by Dr. Adel Al Harbi, the President of Arab Pediatric Pulmonology Association, alongside Professor Nader Fasseeh, the Co-Chairman of APPA. The Local Organizers and Scientific Committee for the APPA 3rd Annual Congress are led by Dr. Asma Al Nuaimi and Dr. Nizar Kherallah. The SKMC Pediatric Update will be chaired by Dr. Yasser Nakhlawi, Chair of the Pediatric Institute at SKMC and Dr. Jaishen Rajah, Consultant Pediatrician at SKMC.

The caliber of the organizing committee for both the 3rd APPA Annual Congress and 3rd SKMC Pediatric Update promises to deliver a quality scientific programme, which is currently undergoing accreditation and will assign continuing education hours to the participants.
