PAC’s Louise Pharand to Return as Judge at PAFI© in Geneva 16 to 19 October 2012

New York, NY, May 30, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Park Art Fair International taking place in Switzerland this Fall welcomes Canadian art advisor Louise Pharand for the second time on the jury of its four-day global event that draws each year artists of every caliber, in a guerrilla artfare setting in the acclaimed historical city of Geneva.

PAFI© is a novel artist initiative started in 2009 by curator and painter Laurence Longueville who organizes the independent fair as a free enterprise by artists for artists. Applications for the juried competition are welcome until 15 June 2012. The artists selected can offer up to five images of their original work with the committee who formats them as posters for the exhibition. The output for the artist is minimal while they gain maximum exposure, as seen by the presence last year of international media from China and Taiwan. 10% of profits go to a UK registered charity art school in Kenya.

Louise Pharand is an art professional based in Toronto, Canada who for five years has been fostering the cultural cross-pollination between foreign artists and North America by providing conceptual, promotional and logistical support. She is currently collaborating on the book Minotaur’s Labyrinth: A Tale of Revolution.
