A brand New $200 Million Market is on the Way

Washington, DC, June 13, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Whatever is a CRR? Beth Garza is Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) manager of congestion analysis. She's responsible for running the group that makes CRR -- congestion revenue rights -- work.

She expects CRRs to get off to a slow start initially but envisions them growing into a $200 million market.

The owner of the CRR will have the right to get a payment for congestion cost differences between the two points owned. It's a matter of auctioning off the financial rights to the ERCOT transmission system.

Garza and Restructuring Today -- the nation's leading news source chronicling ongoing efforts to open competitive whoelsale and retail energy markets -- have planned a 90-minute audio conference for July 13 from 12:00 to 1:30 pm Texas time.

Professor Ross Baldick from the University of Texas will be on hand to help with the hard questions. He gives briefing sessions for ERCOT on the switch to nodal pricing

Here's your chance to be ahead of the pack and find out how you can get ready for this new market.
