Potton Sustainable Show Barn Now Open

The Wickhambrook barn which houses a selection of Sunfold products including folding doors, windows and internal door sets, was launched to the public through a special five day event which was officially opened by St Neots’ Mayor, Councillor Barry Chapman.

London, United Kingdom, June 03, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Visitors were invited to take a tour around the new show barn and see for themselves exactly how this stunning 2,750 square foot timber frame home is an impressive 50% more energy efficient than a home built to meet the requirement of current building regulations.

Mark Stevenson, Kingspan Potton MD commented on the event: “We are absolutely delighted with the response, we had nearly 300 visitors through the house during this short period and we have received many complimentary comments and a lot of very genuine interest as a result. Our aim now is to keep the momentum going and make people aware that we have a fourth show house that has the perfect blend of a traditional barn with an extremely light and airy contemporary interior.”

Included at the event were a number of experts in all areas of the newly completed project including the Sunfold team, who were able to answer questions on sustainable development. The event also included supplier partner presentations on Sunfold’s folding door systems, renewable energy sources, high performance joinery and Smart green technology.

The new Wickhambrook barn at the Self Build Show Centre in Mill Lane Little Paxton, St Neots is the perfect place to view some of Sunfold’s energy efficient door and window product range. The show barn is open Wednesday – Friday 9am to 5pm however to find out more about the following products please contact Sunfold direct to book an appointment.
