Articulon Adds Senior Account Manager

Raleigh, NC, June 13, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Cindy Stranad, principal of Articulon, a Raleigh-based boutique branding and public relations firm, announces today the appointment of Michael Gauss as senior account manager. In this role, Gauss is responsible for leadership of existing accounts and will contribute to new business development. Gauss joins the firm with more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and client service across multiple industries.

Throughout his career, Gauss has managed new invention institutional sales, served as director of client relations with a Triangle-area construction materials firm and directed hospitality and organizational logistics for several Fortune 500 companies. Early in his career, Gauss served as campaign manager for a state senate candidate in Wisconsin.

“With our expanded client base in the first half of 2007, Mike is a tremendous asset to the firm,” says Stranad. “Our clients represent hospitality, B2B and retail accounts. His scope of marketing knowledge in these industries adds instant credibility.”

Gauss currently serves on RTI’s community advisory board and the City of Raleigh’s Human Relations Commission/Mayor’s Unity Breakfast. He is also the co-coordinator of the international program of disability accessibility for Metropolitan Community Churches, chair of the Board of Trustees for his local church and is a team leader in the development of Triangle Metro Health, a health care clinic focusing on those at risk and infected with HIV/Aids.
