Spa-tastic Saturday for Team Russia France Racing

Adoring fans - along with fantastic driving - take to the Spa-Francorchamps circuit during the 2012 World Series by Renault.

Stavelot, Belgium, June 08, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Team Russia France Racing (RFR) drivers Mikhail Aleshin and Anton Nebylitskiy received the attention they deserve Saturday after Aleshin took fourth place on the speedway during an exciting third event of the Formula Renault 3.5 race called the World Series by Renault (WSR).

Team RFR taking fourth place over the weekend not only attracted massive attention from fans both onsite at the Belgian circuit and on social media forums, but also brought on a renewed energy for everyone working for the team, and proved Aleshin’s capabilities yet again. This wasn’t his first visit to the visibly breathtaking surroundings of Spa-Francorchamps. “Last time I visited the Spa circuit, I raced on the track during the 2010 WSR. I won a race then, and I had a good feeling about this weekend as well.” Aleshin continues, “I think this result was very important for the team. We had a difficult start to the season, but we can see that we have a good progression during each race weekend.”

“The goal for me is to get the team to success.” - Mikhail Aleshin

Aleshin’s teammate, Anton Nebylitskiy, adds to that, saying, “As a new team and a new organization building ourselves from the beginning of this year, we didn‘t start with much, but we are progressing in each race by working together. While there may be some problems, we try to get by. The team is very professional. We often use the help of engineers and work a lot on the simulator which is pretty exciting.”

Since the start of the year, Aleshin and Nebylitskiy have formed a close partnership on and off the speedway, including vacationing with their girlfriends while in Monaco. “Mikhail and I live in the same city in Russia; we travel together, so we are pretty close. Plus, Mikhail is a very good driver which is a plus!” says Nebylitskiy.

“The team is under Russian license, with Russian sponsors and two Russian drivers as well. I think the idea is very good. There are also new cars!” exclaims Aleshin.

“Our driving styles are quite similar. There is only one way to be fast, you know.” - Anton Nebylitskiy

"You can always talk about the future, but today, what I care about is this season. The team and I are working to be faster," says Aleshin. The team has some time to reassess and train before the German competition at the beginning of July. Mikhail’s plans? “First priority is to spend time with my family. Also, I am involved with a young driver support program called Nasha Formula. Between races, I help to encourage and educate Russia’s young drivers and share my experiences.”
