Mizzou Tigers to play football on new FieldTurf Revolution surface.

Columbia, MO, June 08, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The University of Missouri, one of the nation’s premiere college football programs, is continuing their longstanding relationship with FieldTurf as the Tigers have announced their decision to install FieldTurf Revolution at Faurot Field. The new field is currently under construction will be ready for the start of the 2012 season. The Tigers, who recently moved to the highly competitive Southeast Conference, have played on FieldTurf at Faurot Field since 2003.

Since the installation of FieldTurf in 2003, the Tigers have gone an impressive 33-10 at Faurot Field. In its inaugural season on the turf, the team went a perfect 6-0, tying that same record of home wins in a regular season twice, and winning 24 of their last 29 games at home since entering the 2010 season. Missouri football has enjoyed tremendous success on FieldTurf and has truly captured a ‘home field’ advantage playing on it.

FieldTurf is clearly the surface of choice for top NCAA and NFL teams. The list of major universities who play their home games on FieldTurf includes Nebraska, Washington, Washington State, Oregon, Oregon State, West Virginia, Illinois, Illinois State, Missouri, Texas, Texas Tech, Iowa, Rutgers, Syracuse, Cincinnati and Louisville. In the NFL, the New England Patriots, New York Giants, New York Jets, Indianapolis Colts, Seattle Seahawks, Atlanta Falcons and Detroit Lions all play their home games on FieldTurf.
