San Francisco, CA, June 14, 2012 --(PR.com
)-- A free information sharing app, PhoneBook Exchange, has just been launched by Waveline Technologies, in accordance with the Waveline.Me exchange platform, and at the same time that Apple started WWDC 2012. Waveline claims that “Exchange is the fastest and easiest way for sharing text, contacts, photos, video, music or any files between smart phones, and with desktop computers.”
Waveline believes that people will really enjoy using the PhoneBook Exchange app, since using a QR Code to share text and contacts is instantaneous and free.
Many people who have used this app think it is a lot of fun to see how it works. At a blink of an eye, a text joke from one iPhone is passed to another. It really brings to life the saying, "if I had the chance I'd do it in a flash." Waveline claims that “messages of any length can be shared, and when encoded into QR codes, they can be easily scanned by another smart phone with a QR code scanner.” This is probably one of the best and most practical applications of QR code technology so far. Larger files will be transferred through the Waveline.Me platform, and then, with another flash of a QR code, the link to the file will be passed and the file will be automatically downloaded. PhoneBook Exchange is extremely easy to use and exchanging information between devices has become as simple as copy and paste.
