Las Vegas, NV, June 18, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Where’s My Lesbians’ Las Vegas International Drag Day Show to feature Drag King/Queen, Burlesque and comedy acts at the LVCS Live Music Venue next to the Brass Lounge for a good charitable cause – the Sin Sity Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence HIV/AIDS Drugs Assistance Program (SADAP).

For the 3rd consecutive year, Where’s My Lesbian is honored by having the charity “The Sin Sity Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence” as the beneficiaries of the International Drag Day (IDD) Las Vegas celebration. All proceeds will benefit the Sin Sity Sisters AIDS Drug Assistance Program (SADAP). The show will be at the LVCS Live Music Venue inside the Brass Lounge on Friday July 13th, 7pm – 9pm. Tickets will be $15 cash only. Every entry can get free parking validation and $3 off any domestic or well drink. The show will be followed by an after party (No Cover) at Drink in Drag, Krave’s newest LGBT friendly establishment.

International Drag Day is a celebration that several countries including Brazil, UK and the US have been waiting for every July 16th. This is the 3rd annual IDD celebration for Las Vegas. Being the 4th year in existence, thanks to Adam Stewart its founder, IDD is a day in which people celebrate how drag has influenced a culture - from politics to entertainment. On July 16, Drag Kings, Queens, and allies from all over the world will celebrate this day by going out in drag with their friends or organizing a show to benefit their community. The Las Vegas show will be early on July 13th and feature raffle prizes, unique and diverse performances ranging from comedy, musical numbers, burlesque and more.

This year’s theme? Dragtavisim - drag Kings and Queens with something to say. “It’s great entertainment that will have you laughing in some parts, crying in others, but always entertained,” states Kim Vonganakasame, the Director of this years’ show. “Definitely an experience like no other.” This ain’t your grand momma’s drag show; these IDD Queens and Kings have surprises up their sleeves – acting and dancing their way into your hearts, souls, and other parts that make you tingle. The theme is in tribute to the Sin Sity Sisters, who are activists every day in the Las Vegas community. Their SADAP program is designed to assist individuals living with HIV/AIDS in Southern Nevada with both short-term and long-term acquisition of prescribed medications necessary for their continued physical health and mental well-being. The program will allow these individuals to remain adherent to all their prescribed medications needs and will alleviate much of the emotional stress of monthly financial dilemmas.

“Come ready to be touched, changed, violated and possibly offended,” drag King Richard Tyler the III begins, “It’s going to be our most outrageous show yet. Great food, great drinks, great fun, you couldn’t find this mix anywhere else in Vegas – I’m willing to bet my beard on that. There is plenty of space, AC, food, alcohol and even stripper poles cocktail tables. You want one of those tables – it will make the experiences even more incredible.” The show will be at the LVCS Live Music Venue next to the Brass Lounge (located on Fremont street above Hennessey Tavern). Tickets will be $15 cash only, but the purchaser can get free Parking Validation for up to two hours and $3 off any well or domestic drink. After the show, join the cast for more drag performances, shots, bowling, gaming and much more at Drink & Drag on the 2nd level of Neonopolis. Drink and Drag is a totally new concept in the way gays play (and straight people too)! Drink and Drag is right across from the Brass Lounge.
