Bay Area Composer Brings Classiness to Pop Songs

Award-winning composer turning her focus to sweetening pop songs.

San Francisco, CA, June 17, 2012 --( Bay Area composer Wendy Loomis – who has released 7 CDs of jazz, classical, new age, and world beat music – has turned her focus to fusing the classiness of her piano lines with the energy of pop songs. Despite the plethora of drum machine popping competition, Wendy’s sweet piano version of Usher’s song “Climax” made it into the top 6% of IndabaMusic’s global remix contest. Her latest piano remix is of “Settle Down” by New Zealand singer Kimbra. The jazzy, slightly husky vocals of this young singer sparkle surrounded by Loomis’ percussive chords and lyrical weavings.

Fans can vote for Wendy’s remix by visiting her website or going to where her submission is listed under her label name COPUS.
