Moore Energy Announces Increase in Orders for Residential Solar Systems in Fairfield County, Connecticut

Greenwich, CT, June 17, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Moore Energy announced today that it is receiving a significant increase in orders for residential solar systems in lower Fairfield county. The Connecticut Clean Energy Finance and Investment Authority (CEFIA) recently approved $10 million in incentives to support new residential solar systems. The program called "Race to the rooftop" will support an additional 5.6 megawatts of new residential systems, over 1,000 homes. "We are extremely pleased with the level of interest from homeowners looking to install a solar system under the CEFIA program," said Barry Alan Moore, President of Moore Energy. Homeowners will benefit financially and help the environment at the same time.

Financial incentives from the Federal Government and the recently approved Connecticut State Rebate Program makes solar systems very attractive investments in Connecticut while helping the environment. In most cases, 60% of the total cost of the solar system is returned in the first year. With the new incentives, homeowners and businesses will be able to reduce or eliminate their monthly electric bill with a solar system.
