Clint Holmes performed a Tribute to Bobby Short at the Smith Center, Cabaret Jazz Showroom.

Las Vegas, NV, June 18, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Sandy Zimmerman, syndicated show and dining reviewer/ talk show host, reviewed “Clint Holmes’ Tribute to Bobby Short.”

Reviewer Sandy Zimmerman discussed the show, "Clint Holmes performed a Tribute to Bobby Short at the Smith Center, Cabaret Jazz Showroom.

Clint Holmes is Las Vegas’ great showman! Every time I have reviewed Clint, he has always performed brilliantly in whatever theme he chose.”

Clint honored the legendary cabaret singer Bobby Short mixing Bobby’s songs with some comments about his life.

The songs were some of the beautiful oldies of the time- “Our love is here to stay,” “Autumn in New York,” “That Gal of Mine;” “Tea for Two;” “Isn’t it Romantic?,” “I’ve Got You Under My Skin,” “Night and Day,” “It was just one of those Things,” “I Happen to like New York,” and many more favorites.

Clint explained, “Bobby never recorded any song the same way twice (just like Clint). He enjoyed singing at the Café Carlyle and appeared there every autumn for 36 years.”
