)-- Appalachian Underwriters Inc. (AUI) announces that Jeff Hensley has assumed the role of vice president of program management & business development for Appalachian Underwriters. Jeff will be based out of the corporate office in Oak Ridge, TN.
This new position will be responsible for working with the corporate team and for enhancing the communication within the business units of the AUI enterprise. Jeff’s primary focus will be the development of the program business and carrier relationships. The role will be multifaceted with responsibilities including working with shared services that include compliance, marketing, IT, reporting, actuary, and legal within the business units and overseeing project management. Jeff will also be responsible for supervising the business operations of the regional offices in Sanford, FL; San Diego, CA; and St. Peters, MO; ensuring each office is properly aligned with AUI corporate initiatives. This position will report directly to the President and EVP/CFO.
