San Diego, CA, June 17, 2007 --(PR.com
)-- BRANDitTV launches service in Southern California in order to create customized television networks inside bars, restaurants and other high traffic public venues. The BRANDitTV service offers public venues the opportunity to brand, market, message, inform and entertain customers through an innovative multimedia platform delivered directly to existing televisions via the Internet.
The emergence of "Digital Signage" is booming in the United States today and is being used by many industry leaders such as Walmart and BestBuy, and has become a standard practice within airports and shopping malls across the country. The Digital Sign typically combines the elements of flat screen tv's located in high traffic consumer locations which are linked to broadband Internet based media players distributing video, audio, text and image based advertising, entertainment and information designed specifically for a targeted audience within eyesight of the displays.
BRANDitTV specializes in the service of Digital Signage and Entertainment within bars and restaurants which up until now has been an untapped market within the Industry. BRANDitTV, owned and operated by Jukebox Sports Network, Inc. (JSN) of San Diego has been agregrating and producing a variety of premium sports and entertainment content since 2005 in order to address the needs of this often fragmented and entertainment savvy market.
"As we looked at the companies which were attempting to enter the bar and restaurant market with similar services we recognized that there was a substantial gap between what they offered as "content" and what this environment required" said Dan Beach, Co-Founder and CEO at JSN, "so in order to create value for our customers, our company had to bring a substantial library of premium and entertaining content to the table which was broad enough to satisfy consumers around the country, not just in one local area and not just one specific interest."
BRANDitTV at launch is offering a suite of highly entertaining content and features intended to "create awareness and attract eyeballs" so that the marketing messages displayed by their customers and advertising partners is seen over and over again each time the consumer visits the venue. BRANDitTV's content library today consists of 100's of professionally produced highlights and game replays from major college sports programs, extreme sports, professional soccer and much more. The service also delivers fresh content on a daily basis in the form of trivia, fun facts, traffic reports, weather, sports updates and news.
"My customers really enjoy our new entertainment option from BRANDitTV, stated Steve Hubbard, GM at Pacific Beach Bar & Grill, one of San Diego's most famous restaurants for the 21-35 year old crowd,"and I can't wait for football season to begin as my college alumni groups are going to be amazed at our ability to create a custom tailgate video party for them filled with highlights and trivia of their alma mater which we will show both before and after each game this season. Our goal has always been to get them in earlier and keep them around longer and we expect that BRANDitTV will do just that."
BRANDitTV is a subscription based service which enables customers with the ability to brand and market their business, menu items, upcoming events and even control a ticker at the bottom of the television screen in order to send messages to their patrons. Customers also have the option of selling advertising to local businesses and suppliers as well as share in revenue generated by the BRANDitTV advertising sales organization which is planning to sell both regional and national advertising as the network of locations continues to expand throughout targeted DMA's.
Jukebox Sports Network, Inc. is a privately held media and entertainment company located in San Diego, California. The company's main lines of business include the BRANDitTV service and video ON DEMAND Internet sites enabling sports fans from around the world the ability to watch hours of great sports highlights from their PC's.
